Sarah Stanton
Chief People Officer
Sarah Stanton was appointed as Chief People Officer of National Gas in 2021.
Prior to joining National Gas, Sarah was with National Grid for 14 years where, among other roles, she was the UK Chief People Officer. She has a broad range of HR experience within a variety of sectors, having worked at global corporations such as Ford, Exxon Mobil, AXA and Barclays. Sarah is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Sarah is a busy mum to two daughters. She enjoys music, theatre, art and walking in the great outdoors, whenever she can.
Ensuring safe, reliable gas supplies nation-wide
The executive leadership team at National Gas is responsible for ensuring Britain’s gas is transported safely and efficiently from where it's produced to the places where it's consumed. That includes balancing supply and demand every day, managing millions of metering installations UK-wide, and maintaining the integrity of gas pipelines and infrastructure.
