Gas industry compliance
To comply with our licence, we must publish various methodologies and statements on our approach and reports on how we meet these requirements. We also consult on the content of some of these methodologies.
Tools used in operating the NTS
The System Management Principles Statement (SMPS) sets out the range of commercial tool options that National Gas Transmission may use to deliver flow rate changes for operating the National Transmission System. A report is also produced annually which reviews how System Management Services were used in the preceding regulatory year in accordance with the SMPS. The current and previous versions of the SMPS and report, along with consultation documentation can be found here.
