Operational Forum
Get the latest insights and operational updates on the gas transmission system.
National Gas holds regular Operational Forum meetings online and in-person throughout the year, to provide helpful insights and information about operational performance and events on the National Transmission System (NTS). The forum is open to anyone with an interest in the UK gas transmission system, from shippers and power station operators to industrial customers and gas consumers of all sizes.
The forum agenda varies every month, reflecting operational events, regulatory changes, topical issues and seasonal matters throughout the gas year.
In 2024, we introduced themed forums, which are hybrid events held online and in person. These are in addition to our regular online-only events.
From 17th April 2025 our themed hybrid events will be held at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, One Birdcage Walk.
